two years ago I tried avira "free" antivirus. I removed it from my laptop two years ago. The laptop died a year ago.
on 11/18/22 I found a $45.99 annual renewal fee for avira antivirus on my credit card.
An internet search of a phone number on the charge to my credit card bill led to cleverbridge inc.
no communication, reports, etc. from avira or cleverbridge inc. since I removed it from my laptop two years ago--the same laptop that died a year ago--until the 11/18/22 charge on my credit card.
BEWARE of avira antivirus and cleverbridge inc.
